Colliers Yard is a new and vibrant neighbourhood located in Greengate, an area steeped in industrial heritage in Manchester city centre.

Bankside is the first tower to be released for sale. Standing tall at 42 storeys, it will feature a range of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom luxury apartments and penthouses, along with an exceptional level of residential amenity, synonymous with Renaker developments.

Drawing inspiration from its Victorian history, the towers will blend existing heritage with twenty-first century architecture, crossing old streets with new paths to build a new and urban neighbourhood with soul. This distinctive district will be surrounded by high-quality public realm; including a new, landscaped public park, a tree-lined boulevard and square. Local institutions such as the Eagle Inn pub and Blueprint Studios will also be celebrated in the process, whilst Grade II* listed building, Collier Street Baths, will be restored to its full glory providing a new hub for the local community. The development will also have a vibrant mix of independent retail and leisure operators.

The Architect

Denton Corker Marshall is an internationally recognised architectural design practice with a reputation for producing innovative and memorable buildings.

With offices in both London and Manchester. Their work covers many building types, cultures, climates and scales, on buildings that often have multiple users and functions.

Delivery of large scale, accessible and attractive public realm is at the core of all our developments and Colliers Yard is no exception. As part of the masterplan we will create a tree-lined ‘European style’ boulevard which will lead to Colliers Square, a new, landscaped public square with external seating enabling residents and the public to meet and relax in. In addition we have created Greengate Park, a new public park with over half an acre of green space for residents and the public to enjoy.


Cortland completed in October 2023, marking a significant step in the delivery of the Greengate masterplan.

The 50-storey tower offers 559 one, two and three bedroom apartments to rent and over 25,000 sq ft of exceptional amenity space. With many new residents already calling Cortland home, the Colliers Yard neighbourhood has truly started to come to life.

At Colliers Yard, there’s always something new to discover around every corner. Collier Street Baths, for starters. Opened by Manchester and Salford Baths and Laundry Company Inc. in 1855, the Grade II* Italianate building later became a matchbox factory. This architectural gem will create an inspiring backdrop for a new public square, Colliers Square.

Forming the core of Colliers Yard, the new tree-lined public square will reframe the iconic baths to celebrate its historic importance, whilst simultaneously offering an exciting area for residents and locals to enjoy. Lined with independent cafes, restaurants and shops, Colliers Square will be a spectacular place to meet, relax and savour the outdoors.
